Error code c00d36b4
Message
MF_E_INVALIDMEDIATYPE - The data specified for the media type is invalid, inconsistent, or not supported.
Description
This error code is shown when you try to play or edit a sound file, that cannot be decoded.
Solution
The sound file, that you tried to play or edit, has the ending mp3, m4a or one of the other supported formats, but the actual content of the file is another not supported format.
To be able to play these files with Soundpad, you need to convert them first to one of the supported formats like mp3 or m4a. You need additional converter software to accomplish this task, or you can use an online audio converter service.
Alternative Solution
This error can also occur on Windows N versions, where the Media Feature Pack is missing. If the file ending and file format of your sound file are correct, or if you see this error message when playing one of the sounds, Soundpad is shipped with, then try this solution.
